【簡歷 Bio】

Galen is a compassionate systems leader with 30 years in strategy execution and complex change programs. He serves on the PMI Board of Directors, and at work leads project, planning and change practices for Department of Communities Western Australia. Galen has taught MBA project management, and is a PMP, ACP and DASSM instructor. His work interests and postgraduate studies include sustainable development, systems and design thinking, positive psychology, coaching for business agility and lean agile ways of working, and purpose, impact and wellbeing.

We live in an increasingly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) world. The last few years reinforce the urgent need for leaders and organisations to become resilient and adaptive in the face of change. We’ve seen many organisations and colleagues struggle, and we’ve seen others thrive.

What are successful organisations and leaders doing, and what can you do to be more effective in delivering value and realising strategic outcomes?

How can you learn to work smarter at individual, team, and organisational levels, even as situations emerge, and contexts evolve?
