IT Project Manager

 

As IT project manager, you will be responsible in all aspects of project execution - taking a project from concept to completion and manage the entire process. You will have high level visibility and understanding of the latest IT infrastructure technologies, IT requirements and operation processes. Manage global technology, infrastructure and IT operations process improvement projects. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and be able to prioritize deadlines.

Desired Experiences & Skills:

  • Minimum 7-8 years experience in IT project management. Minimum 10-12 years experience in IT industry.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing and executing data center setup, migration or IT infrastructure improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations environment (ITIL/ITSM experience a plus)

Education

  • Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS or related discipline.
  • Certifications in PMP and formal course work in project management highly preferred.
   
Project Manager
 
  • Responsible for ODM product project. Support main project to coordinate and consolidate/track the product quality status, analyse quality data, execute QG and identify opportuity to reduce quality deviation compared with quailty goal.
  • 8 years telecommunication related R&D (or production) working experience
  • Fluent in English
  • 6 sigma Green Belt or black belt are preferred
  • Project management experience
  • PMP certification

Qualifications

  • 5 –10 yrs of experience in large project management, prefer with solid knowledge and experience with project management methodologies. eg: PMBOK / Prince II / PMI
  • Experienced managing vendors, suppliers and core business clients and customers as well as being able to provide strong leadership skills
  • Experience in the development of a call centre environment and/or information technology implementation project is a plus
  • High level of English and computer skills

Scope of the Position:

  • The core responsibilities of the role include establishing project plans, deliverables, dependencies and requirements, manage the operational requirements and resources required for large and small projects within a structured project methodology and implement a total Quality Management framework for the business.
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and establishment of the Tunstall Taiwan Response Service.
  • Reporting Requirements:
    The Project Manager shall be responsible to the Business Development and Operations Manager, Tunstall Asia Pacific.
  • The general work priorities and the allocation of duties shall be determined within the context of the needs of Tunstall Taiwan Pty Ltd.

Job Description

  • Ensure projects are managed according to project management methodologies eg: PMBOK / Prince II / PM1
  • Where appropriate, take personal responsibility and personal control of important and demanding projects
  • Ensure that all resources and systems are identified which are required for project deployment
  • Obtain buy in from internal, sales and operational function areas required for project deliverables
  • Manage adherence to project delivery timeframes
  • Operate a ‘quality gate’ through which all major changes to plan must pass before being accepted
  • Assist Finance in the effective management of costs according to project budgets, including providing advice and research on key requirements
  • Ensure there is appropriate, effective and regular communication between stakeholders, including project team members, internal departments, external providers, customers and clients
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client details outside the work place
  • Develop functional relationships and facilitate effective communication within a team environment
  • Commit to and endorse the company’s vision and mission

Performance Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management with solid knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, systems and tools eg: PMBOK / Prince II / PMI, including relevant industry and/or tertiary qualifications
  • Excellent experience with large projects. Experience in the development of a call centre environment and/or information technology implementation project would be desirable but not essential
  • Experienced managing vendors, suppliers and core business clients and customers as well as being able to provide strong leadership skills
  • Excellent time management abilities, able to manage and solve problems with conflicting demands
  • Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in working within a team in the delivery of quality service to clients
  • Proven organization abilities, including the establishment and communication of priorities, meeting deadlines and management of project deliverables and objectives
  • High level of oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to negotiate, solve problems, liaise with and resolve issues with clients, suppliers, management and staff at all levels

As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the sales team’s planning and execution. It includes contract negotiation, close the contract and lead all kinds of sales and marketing events. You are also responsible for the marketing events, website development, business development and relationship management with our clients.
