2007 Enterprise PMP Benchmarking Award Ceremony

Time: Sunday, 11/04/2007 Plenary Session D 15:40 – 17:00 in IPMF2007
Venue: Grand Formosa Regent, Taipei

Objective of the Ceremony:

  1. To recognize a successful enterprise in the Greater China Region with the most PMP.
  2. To enhance the awareness of Project Management Practice as one of the key success factors and one of key values of an organization.
  3. To generate the publicity and to increase the awareness of project management in the enterprises across all industries in the Greater China region.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Top 1 Enterprise PMP employees in Greater China
  2. Top 1 Enterprise PMP employees in Hong Kong
  3. Top 5 Enterprise PMP employees in Taiwan & Top 1 Enterprises from different industries (such as: IT service, Telecom, Software, Computer/electronics, Semiconductor, Construction) in Taiwan (Remark: This is to attract the participations of the local industries of the host place this time in IPFM2007)

Procedure of selection:

  1. Identify the PMP database from China, HK and Taiwan Chapter, the database preferably was updated in August 2007.
  2. Each Chapter sends an invitation to the key person of the award winning enterprise to explain the program contents.
  3. The potential Enterprise confirm the PMP employee with the names and PMP numbers, and each Chapter will verify the number. Then confirm with the IPMF forum secretary office.

Invitation of Awarded enterprise:

  1. One representative of the awarded enterprise from HK and China will be offered three nights accommodations for free in Taipei and free registration for the IPMF2007 during 3-4 Nov 2007. In addition, the representative will be invited to the 101 tour and VIP dinner on 3 Nov 2007 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
  2. Only the representative of the enterprise who has the most PMP in the Greater China Region can have 10 minute speech in English at the Forum during Plenary session D from 15:40 to 17:00 on Sunday 11/04/2007. The speech aims to address how the company reached the largest number of PMP and why are PMPs important within the company. This speaker and other delegates of the award receiver will also share about how good Project Management Practice can benefit their company. followed by a panel discussion titled “Enterprise PM Delivers Enterprise Results?”chaired by Ms. Patty Wong, General Manager, Special Projects, Hutchison Port Holdings.
