"Focused Risk Communication" by Dr David Hillson PMP FAPM
在專案中一個風險溝通的問題是有許多人需要知道風險，但他們不是全部都需要相同資訊。我們不能只發給每人一份風險登錄表，就期待他們推論出他們所需的資訊，風險相關的溝通應該得到較之更多的關心與注意。不同的利害關係人需要不同程度的風險資訊，利害關係人的定義為任何對專案成功有興趣的個人或團體，這通常包括了專案贊助者、專案經理、專案團隊、以及顧客或客戶，也可能包括供應商、次級供應商、使用者、高階主管、創投伙伴、一般社會大眾、執法者、政客、壓力團體、以及甚至競爭對手。我們如何決定該告訴這些非常不同性質團體的人什麼？ (中/英文全文) |

| 2008年第一季南部(高雄)講座：「發現之旅–鄭和七次下西洋之成功專案(The Voyage of Discovery – Zheng He’s Successful Project of Seven Expedition)」圓滿結束 |
2008年2月21日19:00假恆逸資訊教育訓練中心(高雄市中正三路55號10樓)，由本會理事長熊博士擔綱主講，熊博士以現代專案管理的知識與技術及專案管理五個流程來探討鄭和七次下西洋為何能在起始、計劃、執行與控管層面如此成功，並以專案的經驗傳承來解析為何在結束後卻徹底失敗的原因(詳如活動報導)。<詳細內容>

預2008年4月17日19:10假龐畢度中心(台北市復興北路99號2F)舉辦，本年度非常難得邀請國際級風險管理大師Dr. David Hillson擔綱本會四月份講座。
摘要：Risk management is recognised as an essential tool to tackle the inevitable uncertainty associated with business at all levels. The evident disconnect which often occurs between strategic vision and tactical project deliverables typically arises from poorly defined project objectives and inadequate attention to the proactive management of risks that could affect those objectives. One of the main failings in the traditional approach to risk management arises from a narrow focus on the downside, restricted to the technical or operational field, addressing tactical threats to processes, performance or people. This shortcoming can be overcome by widening the scope of risk management to encompass both strategic risks and upside opportunities, creating an integrated approach which can bridge the gap between strategy and tactics. Integrated risk management addresses risks across a variety of levels in the organisation, including strategy and tactics, and covering both opportunity and threat. Effective implementation of integrated risk management can produce a number of benefits to the organisation which are not available from the typical limited-scope risk process. |
