Imagine you have just been assigned to manage a multi-year program in a foreign country. You are traveling there to meet with your customers and their executive team for the very first time. You have very limited knowledge about the country and culture, and cannot speak a word of their language. What to do?
In today’s global environment, this is very real. Some may spend time searching for an app to do the translation or learn the language, but how much depth or insight can an app provide? As a leader, how can we boost our competitive advantage in this fast-moving world by improving our cultural intelligence? How can we collaborate with a diverse, cross-cultural team to achieve the desired results to assure project success? This interactive session will address the fun facts, considerations, and challenges of cross-cultural communication.
